Brad Sablosky

Brad’s interest in wilderness medicine began during his 13 year career as a river guide in Northern Canada. After hanging up his guide paddle he served for 5 years as the Director of Langskib Wilderness Program in Northern Ontario. Since 1996 Durango, Colorado has been his winter home. He has worked as a senior field instructor for Aspen Achievement Academy, and for the last 10 years as a professional ski patroller and training supervisor at Purgatory Mountain.

Currently living year-round in Durango  Brad is now a member of Durango Fire and Rescue as an EMT-I / Firefighter. He also is  a member of La Plata County Search and Rescue, and sits on numerous charitable Boards.  Lately Brad has been spending much of his time behind the stick of his Murphy Rebel bush plane exploring the dirt strips of the southwest.

Brad is in his third year teaching for WMA and has experience working throughout  the US and overseas.
